Below are examples of Search categories you’ll find within AOL Mobile Search results:
Local Search:
For starters, tell us where you are by adding ZIP or city info into the location box. Once you provide us with your location, your results will be tailored to that area automatically.
You'll get access to integrated maps and driving directions to help you get where you're going fast. At any time, you may change your location by clicking on ‘Change’ and inputting a different location.
Your last five locations will be saved allowing you one click options to selecting a different location.
News Search: The most recent and up-to-date news links will be displayed based on your search query. Just scroll or skip over the Local section or tab to retrieve your News results.
Select ‘More News’ to retrieve additional news results related to your query.
Image Search: Based on your search query, you’ll receive several related images under the Images section or tab. You can scroll through each image or click on the image for a larger view.
Select ‘More images’ to retrieve additional images for that same search query.
Web Search: The Web search results provide you a list of both standard and mobile specific website links related to your search query. As an added value, we will optimize the standard web site links to be viewed on your mobile device.
