AOL Mobile Help
The AOL® Mobile Web is a wireless web destination that provides access to AOL® information and services designed to keep you entertained, informed, and connected to your family and friends while mobile. The service is compatible with a wide variety of wireless devices, including mobile phones, smart phones, and PDAs. The AOL Mobile Web offers access to the following features and information:
AOL® Mobile Search
Search less, discover more! Tell us where you are, what you need and we'll get you the results you want. AOL® Mobile Search automatically groups your search query results into relevant categories, to make it easy for you to get what you were looking for fast.
A few examples of Search categories below:
AOL® Local Search
Tell us where you are by inputting your location into the location box. You must provide your location in order to receive local search results. You'll even get a map and driving directions to help you get where you're going fast. You may change your location by clicking on 'Change' and inputting a different location. Your last five locations will be saved. Selecting a different location will provide new search results but within that location.
AOL® News Search
The latest news links will be displayed based on your search query. Just scroll or skip over the Local section or tab to retrieve your News results. Select 'More News' to retrieve additional news results related to your query.
AOL® Image Search
Based on your search query, you'll receive several related images under the Images section or tab. You can scroll through each image or click on the image for a larger view. Select 'More images' to retrieve additional images for that same search query.
AOL® Web Search
The Web search results provide you a list of website links related to your search query. You may click on a link to be redirected to that organization's website - and we'll even optimize it for your phone!
Mail
Check your AOL® or AIM® Mail when you’re on the go! With Mobile AOL & AIM mail, you can read, write, reply and forward your e-mails quickly and easily.
MapQuest®
Find any destination, get detailed maps, and turn-by-turn directions!
CityGuide
CityGuide Mobile gives you quick, easy access to restaurants, hotels, entertainment and more in over 300 cities across the country.
Moviefone®
Moviefone Mobile makes going to the movies easier than ever. You can quickly view showtimes, cast information and movie synopses.

AIM Pages
An AIM Page is your face and space on the Web. AIM Pages' features and tools help you easily express yourself, connect with friends, family and others like you. You can create your AIM Page on the desktop and then view it and other people’s pages on your mobile device.
What is this AOL/AIM Mobile Sign In page?
Some AOL or AIM services require you to sign in with your AOL/AIM Screen Name to use personalized features. If the service you are trying to access has presented you with this Sign In page, you may also have the option to save your login information by checking the “Keep me signed in” box.
How does “Keep me signed in” work?
When you sign in to AOL/AIM mobile, you can choose to stay signed in for up to 30 days. Just check the “Keep me signed in” box before you click “Sign In.”
Note: Depending on the mobile device you are using and your mobile service provider, your login information may be saved for less than 30 days. To protect your screen name from abuse, please contact your mobile carrier immediately if your mobile device is lost or stolen.
What does “Change Options” mean?
Include Hyperlinks: This is the ability to turn on or off hyperlinks that reference other materials or other pages. Default is for this to be turned on, to turn off, uncheck the check box.
Include Images: This is the ability to include or not include images. Default is for this to be turned on (checked). If you have this unchecked, the icons and images in the news stories will not appear.
Optimize Linked Pages: This is the ability to indicate how you would like to view content on your mobile device. By checking this box, you are choosing to view content that has been optimized for viewing on a mobile device.
Include Numbers: This is the ability turn on or off the quick numerical access keys that are used within the menu structure of AOL Mobile. Pressing the corresponding number on your mobile device keypad will automatically jump to that item within the menu. Default is for this featured to be turned on (checked).
Maximum Characters per Page: This is the ability to define how much content you would like to view per page on your mobile device before advancing to a new page.
